Auckland American Pit Bull Terrier Club

Location: Pukekohe A&P Show Grounds

Rules at Pit Bull shows:

1. No bitches that are in heat allowed on show grounds.
2. Human aggression will not be tolerated on the show grounds.
3. Abuse towards your dog will lead to disqualification and all points deleted.
4. All dogs must be presented wearing a collar.
5. Dogs must remain on leashes at all times.
6. While waiting for each class please keep your dog tied up to your car or in your car.
7. If your dog attacks another dog you must pay all veterinary bills.
8. If your dog causes any damage to the show grounds you are liable of payment for repairs.
9. If your dog damages any club equipment you are liable to pay for repairs.
10. All owners must be capable of using a breaking stick. (an official can teach you)
11. ** All dogs must be provided with water. (buckets and water sometimes provided)

Presentation of your dog to the Judges:

• Listen to the Judge's instructions.
• When you are asked to walk or trot your dog make sure he/she is visable to the Judge at all times. Do not block the Judge's view.
• Stak your dog our so he/she is presented at his/her best - staking a dog makes it very easy for the Judge to judge your dog.
